Chlopek defeats Brunette to earn school board seat

PULASKI – Brian Chlopek has been elected to a three-year term representing Zone 1 for the Pulaski school board.

Chlopek defeated challenger Sarah Brunette with 1,057 unofficial votes, or 56.46 percent to 813 votes, or 43.43 percent.

Chlopek replaces Trina Townsend, who did not seek a new three-year term.

He is a vice president at JT Engineering, Inc. in Hobart.
