Local soccer academy open house provides exclusive training opportunity

HOWARD – MacRoc Soccer Academy, Private Training Academy and Player Development Center, will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec 1.

Players of all ages are invited to this exclusive opportunity to come experience the ICON 8M and Toca Touch Trainer.

Players will be asked to donate $1 for one minute on the ICON 8M and $2 for 18 Toca Balls.

Prizes will be awarded to winners of each age group, including free sessions on each of the training machines for a future date.

In the holiday spirit of giving, all proceeds will be donated to Team Teddy of Wisconsin.

Team Teddy’s mission is to deliver smiles and spread love to children affected with various serious ailments in Wisconsin hospitals.

Its goal is to provide some respite and emotional break during a patient’s treatment and/or recovery.

“The TOCA touch trainer and the ICON are two tools that have helped me immensely in my soccer training,” said Skylar Prentice, former player from Pulaski High School and current player and junior at Bemidji State University. “To be able to get so many touches on the ball in such a short amount of time is huge. I am so excited to see how they both help the future of soccer in Green Bay.”

MacRoc Soccer Academy is located at 1601 Brookfield Ave. Unit H8 in Howard. For more information, email [email protected].

“The vision of the academy is to provide the youth soccer players of Green Bay training opportunities that will advance their skills while driving home the importance of focus and hard work,” said Mackenzie Jaroch-August, owner of Mac Roc. “Through this open house, I hope to offer players the developmental opportunities that the ICON and Toca machines provide while also raising money for a charitable cause close to my heart.”
