What was it like to be a leader on the football team at Ashwaubenon High School? “I liked to make things positive before a game and set a good mood on the field during a game.”

What was your most embarrassing moment ever in football? “Honestly, nothing much. One thing that I can think of is not cutting up the field right away or reading the wrong hole on a certain play.”

How many years have you been involved in football? “I have been playing football for six years.”

What is your most memorable moment? “Scoring every game during my junior varsity year.”

What’s the hardest part about performing in a football game? “Making sure I was picking up blocks and just running the ball hard.”

If you could be somebody for a day, who would it be? “I would want to be Dallas Cowboys’ player Ezekiel Elliott for a day, because I look up to him as a running back and how he is a leader.”

What was your sports routine before a big game starts? “We had a team meeting before every game, and we just got ready to do our job and win as a team.”

Did you have a nickname or something that teammates called you during a game? “A lot of people call me Jon or candy. Coach Schroeder also calls me mole.”

What is one thing that other teammates or coaches don’t know about you? “I don’t think a lot of my teammates knew I used to play soccer for about 10 years.”

Winning individual honors or a big team win? “I couldn’t win an individual honor without my team, so I would say big team win.”

What are your college aspirations? “I plan to attend a four-year college. Hopefully, I can keep playing football.”

What are your hobbies? “I like to go up north, play with my dog and hang out with friends and family.”

What is your favorite event ever attended? “Doing the Goody Triathlon.“

What is your favorite type of music? “Music to hype me up before a game, like rap.”

What is your favorite thing to do on your phone? “Snapchat and Instagram.”

What three words describe you? “Empathetic, leader, responsible.”

What is your favorite trip ever taken? “Going to the Dominican Republic.”

TV or outdoor activities? “Outdoor activities. I just like to explore.”

Do you prefer college football or pro football? “I prefer pro football. It’s cool to see professional players play because some of those guys I look up to.”

If you had to choose only one, would you rather play on the offensive or defensive side for football? “I would play offense because it’s fun to score and get yards to have a chance to show what you can do.”

Would you rather play on a sun-drenched day or in a blizzard? “Honestly, I like playing in the warm weather, but it would be a cool experience to play in a snowy game.”

Pick-6 or a 90-yard touchdown reception? “For sure a 90-yard touchdown.”

A 7-3 win or a 70-63 victory? “I would honestly say a 7-3 win, and I say that because that means both sides (offense and defense) did their job to score and to stop the opponent from scoring more.”
