SUAMICO – The fifth annual “Taste at Bay Port” will be held before the Bay Port/Green Bay Notre Dame football game Sept. 21 from 4:30-6:30.

Various vendors will be on hand with food samples, which cost anywhere from $1 – $5. Soda, Gatorade and water will be also available.

Anduzzi’s, Brainfreeze, Dunkin’ Donuts, Firehouse Subs, Four Way, La Java, Melotte, Old World Pastries Plus, StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly, Tapped, Texas Fold ‘Em Taco Company and Townline are scheduled to participate.

All proceeds from Taste at Bay Port go to the booster club, who then uses the proceeds to provide financial support for all the student-athletes at the high school.
According to Bay Port Booster Club president Jeanne Nolle, last year the event collected about $7,000.

Additionally, Nolle pointed out that not only do the participating businesses get to showcase their food/beverages, but they are also extremely generous in donating the proceeds of what they make at the event back to the booster club.

Team worn and vintage fan apparel will also be for sale at the event.

The Bay Port football team is currently ranked No. 7 (D1) in the state and sits at 5-0.

Notre Dame is 4-1 and currently ranked No. 5 in Division 3.
