MANITOWOC-Rylie Severson shot 82 at Branch River Country Club and finished second at the FRCC meet (Aug.21).

Her round included 10 pars.

ASHWAUBENON-The Jaguars’ girls swim team finished second overall in the Fox River Classic Conference Relays held at the community pool (Aug.23).

The team of Evelyn Geurts, Emily Selissen, Jocelyn McNicoll, and Hannah Vanderheyden finished second in the Girls 300 Yard Breaststroke Relay.

In addition, the Jaguars finished third in the Girls 500 Yard Freestyle Relay behind the team of Hallory Domnick, Selissen, McNicoll, and Ashlee Vyskocil

APPLETON-Sage Wagner took third and Erica Conrad ninth at the Terror Cross Country Invitational. On the boy’s side, Randy Johnson took fourth (Aug. 24).

SHAWANO-The West De Pere Phantoms tennis team blanked the Shawano Hawks by a final of 7-0. Six of the seven flights were won in straight sets (Aug.21).

2 Emily Lau (WDP) over Anna Cuenca (Shaw) 6-1, 6-0

3 Christina Qui (WDP) over Rylie Anderson (Shaw) 6-1, 6-1

4 Brooklyn Steier (WDP) over Peyton Buerman (Shaw) 6-4, 6-0

Doubles:

1 Emily Dorn/Lorraine Qui (WDP) over Alana Krolow/Annalyse Wilber (Shaw) 6-3, 6-4

2 Katie Wiesner/Kymberly Coolidge (WDP) over Karelyn Malliet/Jillian Black (Shaw) 6-1, 6-0

3 Keilani Nishimoto/Olivia Williams (WDP) over Lydia Dobberstein/Aubree Zastrow (Shaw) 6-2, 5-7,10-3

NEW LONDON-The West De Pere Phantoms moved to 2-0 by defeating the New London Bulldogs by a final of 35-0 (Aug.24).

Josh Blount rushed for 58 yards and three touchdowns, and Cody Cavil backed up his week one performance with 105 yards and two touchdowns.

On the defensive side, the Phantoms were led by Garrett Kempen, Evan Frisque, and Cavil who each had seven solo tackles.

Alex Spitzer and Ben Pawlak added six.

West De Pere will put their perfect season on the line when they host Green Bay West on Aug.31
