Multiple communities in the area will be taking part in National Night Out tonight.

ASHWAUBENON – The Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department is inviting village residents  to be part of the Ashwaubenon National Night Out 2018.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes public safety, community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between Public Safety personnel, while bringing back a true sense of community.

Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Public Safety has put together a map of 12 Neighborhood Watch host sites in Ashwaubenon where National Night Out will be observed from 6-9 p.m.

SUAMICO – The Suamico police and fire departments invite the public to participate in the National Night Out, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mount Olive Church, 2460 Mount Olive, Dr.

The departments want to give back to the community it serves, so this free event will feature hot dogs, hamburgers, water and soda, thanks to contributions from Walmart, Festival Foods and Meijer.

HOWARD – National Night Out will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Howard Village Hall, 2456 Glendale Ave.

Hot dogs will be grilled by officer Jim Dagneau, and there will also be popcorn to go along with police and fire vehicles and a K9 demonstration.
