HOWARD – Howard Village President Burt McIntyre is seeking applicants to fill the trustee position for Wards 7-8.

The seat was left vacant when incumbent Trustee Mike Hoppe resigned on July 30.

To be considered for the position, applicants must be Howard residents, who live within Ward 7 or 8 and are eligible to vote in the state of Wisconsin.

Interested applicants should complete and return a village board questionnaire by Aug. 17.

Forms are available on the village of Howard website, villageofhoward.com, and at village hall during business hours, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30-11:30 a.m. Friday.

McIntyre and up to two sitting trustees will conduct interviews if more than two applications are received, with Village Board approval expected at the Aug. 27 meeting.

For more information, contact McIntyre at [email protected] or the village clerk’s office at 920-434-4640.
