Police seeking man for damaging property and theft

ASHWAUBENON – Ashwaubenon Public Safety Officers were called to Nativity of Our Lord Church this morning around 8:45 because a man was inside the church acting bizarre.

The man sat at the piano and lit a cigarette while asking for the clergy.

His face was covered so a parishioner asked him to show his face.

The man then stole a large crucifix and fled the church in a smaller blue car, possibly a Ford Focus or Fusion.

A short time later Officers were called to WLUK Fox 11 for the same man who was wielding the crucifix and using it to smash the sign in front of the business.

The man fled the scene north across Lombardi Ave and through a yard getting into the same smaller blue car.

Officials are asking anyone with information as to who this person may be to contact Ashwaubenon Public Safety at 920-492-2995 or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward to use CrimeStoppers at 920-432-STOP or on the web at www.432STOP.com.
