HOWARD- Junior Jaguar runner Sage Wagner stayed with the lead pack for over two miles Thursday afternoon (Oct. 12) at Meadowbrook Park. In the end, Wagner finished fourth out of 78 runners. The tricky course up and around ‘big bertha’ presented many issues for the other runners, though cool temperatures helped immensely.

Sophomore Erica Conrad averaged a 6:27 mile en route to a 14th place finish. She has been consistently in the top 20 all season for the Jaguars.

Randy Johnson was the only male Jaguar runner to crack the top 40. He finished with a blistering 16:56 good enough for a ninth-place finish. The Jaguars will be in action next when they take part in their own 12 team Sectional held Oct. 20 at Colburn Park.
