“Jaguar tennis team defeats West to end season; JV team finishes a perfect 10-0”

The Ashwaubenon Jaguar girls tennis team finished off their regular season with a 7-0 non-conference victory over the Green Bay West Wildcats. The Jaguars dropped a total of 4 games in 5 matches played. The other two matches were won by the Jaguars as a result of forfeits. The Jaguars finish the regular season with a 15-8 dual match record. The Jaguars will be back in action on October 2nd when they partake in the Ashwaubenon SubSectional held at Western Racquet  and Four Season Tennis Clubs.

1  Marisa Marohl (ASH) over Maddy Steber (GBW) 6-0, 6-2

2  Bitz Steinhoff (ASH) over Melanie Shefchik (GBW)  6-0, 6-0

3  Aubree Helstad (ASH) over Dani Lefko (GBW)  6-1, 6-1

4  Emily DeLaurelle (ASH) over Jasmeine Steber (GBW)  6-0, 6-0

Doubles:

1  Jayme Kiser and Peyton Wright (ASH) over (GBW)  2-0, 2-0

2  Maddy Coopmans and Caylee Behnke (ASH) over (GBW) 2-0, 2-0

3  Addison Stromberg and Kennedy Conradt (ASH) over Megan McLaughlin and Grace Roberts (GBW) 6-0, 6-0

The Jaguar JV Tennis team capped off a perfect 10-0 season by defeating the Bay Port Pirates in the last FRCC dual.

The Jaguars defeated the Depere Redbirds 8-3, Pulaski Red Raiders 7-4, Manitowoc Ships 7-4, Green Bay Southwest Trojans 6-5, Green Bay Preble Hornets 8-3, Notre Dame Tritons 6-5, Sheboygan South Redwings 6-5, Kimberly Papermakers 8-3, Sheboygan North Golden Raiders (5-3-rain shortened), Bay Port Pirates 8-3

Members of the team include Addy Francois, Jacqueline Rosnow, Hailey Heyrman, Sydney Zabel, Lauren Gaie, Madi Appleton, Sav Baierl, Emmaleigh Sachs, Megan Sanders, Madyson Rothe, Korrin VanLaanen, Natalie Vandenheuvel, Laure Elise Breyne, Emily Cole, Kenzy Younk, Mahri Hodges, Izzy Schnek, Lauryn Wery, Michaela Mandich
