On Tuesday Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and Vice President/General Counsel Ed Policy led the media on a tour of construction progress in the Park and Plaza area of the new Titletown District in Ashwaubenon. A grand opening and ribbon cutting is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday Sept. 15, followed by activities and live music until 7 p.m. According to Murphy, much of the park will be open, including the new full-size athletic field, game and playground areas and the 40-yard dash track. The Titletown Park and Plaza will be programmed for year-round activities, including a 45-foot tall tubing hill complete with three snow-making machines, plus an ice skating pond and trail scheduled to open in mid November.
