Bay Port’s Gary Westerman has never won as head coach at Ashwaubenon.

SUAMICO – After three games, the Bay Port football team doesn’t appear it can be stopped.
Despite giving up two first-half scoring drives to Manitowoc Lincoln, the Pirates got a 56-14 Fox River Classic Conference win over the Ships on August 31 at Bay Port High School.
Bay Port (3-0 overall, 3-0 FRCC) remained unbeaten in conference play along with Southwest and Notre Dame, while Manitowoc (0-3, 0-3) was routed for the first time all season after close losses with De Pere and Preble to open its season.
The Pirates got three touchdowns from Cordell Tinch, two more from Elijah Gash and quarterback Isaac Krause was 9-of-10 for 226 yards with four TD throws. He hooked up with Tinch and Gash for a pair each.
Tinch also added an 82-yard kickoff return in the first half to help Bay Port take a 49-14 lead into intermission.
Jacob Calawerts scored from 69 yards out – his fifth score in the first three games – and led the team with 97 yards rushing on just six carries, as the Pirates outgained the Ships by a 383-211 margin.
Defensively, Alec Nagel returned an interception 43 yards and Will Kitslaar scooped up a fumble and rumbled 15 yards for scores.
