Ashwaubenon High School Honoring Coach Ken ‘G’ Golomski

Ashwaubenon, WI – August 18, 2017 – The Ashwaubenon School District announced that on Friday, September 8th at 6:30 pm, prior to the Ashwaubenon Jaguar vs. Bay Port varsity football game, Ashwaubenon will be honoring ex-football Coach Ken ‘G’ Golomski. Golomski was inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Hall of Fame, and this past May into the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

We are hoping to have as many of Coach ‘G’s players, fellow coaches, students, co-workers and Ashwaubenon residents as possible join us for this pre-game ceremony. We are recognizing ‘G’ not only for the Jaguars’ 4 State Championships under his direction, but more importantly, for the positive impact he’s had on so many people both on and off the field. The ceremony will include the unveiling of a permanent monument at Goelz Field in ‘G’s honor.

EVENT SCHEDULE

5:30-6:30 pm: Ex-players and fellow Coaches meet and visit with Coach G under the tent in the end zone.

6:30 pm: Ceremony on track in front of stands.

7 pm: Jaguar football vs. Bay Port

9:30-10:30 pm: Post-game reception in AHS Fieldhouse Lobby.
