Megan Wierschke takes over the Jaguar volleyball program in 2017. Wierschke was the JV girls coach the past three years. She is a 2009 grad of Ashwaubenon High School and knows the community well. In addition to assisting the Jaguars, Wierschke has spent the past 8 years with the Wisconsin Volleyball Academy.

The Jaguars are coming off a 3-6 season, 7^th place finish in the FRCC, and are looking to better that mark with early season contests vs the Manitowoc Ships and Sheboygan South Redwings. Coach Wierschke, “Even though the previous conference record may not show the success we had last year, we took big steps in the right direction to assist with this season. This seasons varsity team as a whole contains the most dedicated athletes to our program we’ve had in a long time. They’ve put in many hours in the off-season to bring their game to this level and hold each other to a high standard.”

Seven full time players return for the Jaguars including backrow assets Alyssa Bath and Shaun Berry. Megan Servais, McKenna Gniot, and Addie Van Vreede will be attacking from the front row, and Maddie Koch and Maddie Crowley provide the leadership and three years of experience to the team. Many others are currently battling for varsity playing spots. Coach Wierschke, “By coaching JV the past three seasons, I’ve seen what these talented individuals can do, however, the real magic is when these girls play together. We are looking to compete very well in the FRCC this season. I want to create a consistent, high level environment program under my guidance. The idea is to start reaching down into our middle school program at Parkview. I’m going to dedicate my time and work very hard to raise the involvement and spread my knowledge and resources with the area about the great opportunities athletes have to learn and play the great game of volleyball. ”
